Is comprehensive packages of benefits which include a Nationwide Network of Medical Physicians who provide consultations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. CallMD physicians diagnose routine, non-emergency medical problems (such as; Respiratory Infections, Urinary Tract Infections, Bronchitis, Gastroenteritis, Sinusitis and Allergies) via telephone, recommend treatment and prescribe non-narcotic medication when necessary and where permitted.
Member simply calls CallMD’s toll-free number and speaks to a Registered Nurse who documents by
tele-triage the member’s medical history and current medical concern or issue for the member or
dependent, regardless of age. The RN forwards the medical history and triage to the doctor and both the
RN and doctor calls the member on a conference call usually within 45 minutes. Benefit Max of 6 per year for an individual and 12 per year for a family.
